Central eating in Eastbourne is my favourite cafe/restaurant. I have been here with my husband on our own (a rare occasion!) and with, kids and family. They are warm, relaxed and very friendly. I love the décor and food is Yum!

Its so lovely to discover a place that is so friendly and relaxed and yet serves such good food with the best cappucino in town. The vibe is young and eclectic and just what Eastbourne needs. I love it.

Cafe. Just a really great cafe, great personal service, and high quality ingredients. Little quirks like artist table tops really make a difference too.

Just the most fab place to eat or chill out with a coffee. I often find myself with an hour or two between appointments and am always assured of a warm welcome and in this cold weather a warm cuppa! Lunch is pretty excellent too.

Always open for a cuppa and delicious food. I have booked a meet up with friends there too.

I'd seen some friends recommending morning breakfasts at Central Eating on Facebook so when another friend suggested going there for lunch I thought "Why not". I'm very glad I did! Good food, a great selection of soft drinks and good service. All this in a place that is worth visiting just for the interior!

Been to Central Eating a few times now. Food is delicious. Ambience is relaxing, friendly and fun. Good value for money. Top notch spot for eating in Eastbourne.

What a fantastic place to go for a great breakfast, a lovely lunch or just a pot of tea. I've been with the other half for a great hangover curing breakfast and with three generations of my family for lumch, where everyone loved it. Just what the town needed.

We tested their family-friendliness out to the full with a grumpy 5 year-old and hyperactive toddler. Both they and us beleaguered parents enjoyed the food, atmosphere and most of all the friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Fantastic people behind this business and we'll definitely be going back and recommending to everyone we know. :-)

The best place to eat in town. Nice music, friendly staff. Perfect for family and old ladies! Don't be shy open the door if you are middle aged.

It's great to see a "proper" independent cafe in Eastbourne. Relaxing, cool and without a whiff of corporate standardization.
