I just wanted to say how much pleasure my garden is giving me one year on. Having a blitz on uprooting the grass sitting on my bum on the pebbles with that lethal implement you kindly gave me and the beautiful hand made trug at my side proved a lot more effective long term than any weedkiller. It also provided hours of entertainment for the curtain twitchers and passers by such that I now have a nodding, chatting and patting acquaintance with huge numbers of my neighbours and their dogs - I have resisted patting the neighbours so far. The roses, lavender and bushes are thriving wonderfully well and the garden is a source of regular compliments. Love the pebbles which make me feel that I'm on Eastbourne beach, and the windy path, and that step is a dream. Often sit on the step in preference to the bench which Howard kindly supplied. Thanks you and the guys for a brilliant effort. Keep up the good work.
