If you have read Pt 1, you will know I have gone in to some brief detail about Ghost, Spirits, some stats and some facts,
Through Pt 2 I aim to explain the difference between a ghost and a spirit, talk about science and mediums. Later I will explain paranormal equipment what it is, does, and why it’s used.
I left Pt1 explaining about one of my many ghost encounters, this for me is a typical ghost in that it didn't interact, didn't seem aware of us, a full human form apparition not a trick of the light or a dust blob on a camera lens, We saw it with our own eyes at dusk with a back drop of a roman wall.
However what we saw that day was not uncommon there are many reports of strange sightings at this location (Pevensey Castle) in the last year alone I've received three emails about separate phenomena (ghost sightings) in the grounds.
This is where I separate ghost from spirit!
Lets briefly talk about mediums and mediumship, there are many forms of this practice but I will keep it mainstream for the time being.
Mediums can communicate with people that have passed as they put it, died in laymen's terms, they call it passed because they believe that the person has simply passed from the life form we know to being ‘us’ to a spiritual realm.
Spirits can be people that have just popped back to communicate, people that are afraid to go to the next place, are still believing they are part of the people population etc etc, anyway spirits they can feel, see, hear, talk to ... Ghosts however seem to be a seen phenomena that seems to replay in some way or a phenomena that is almost spirit less.
You may be asking well what about ghosts that move stuff make sounds, affect TV's or other things around you, these are in my mind spirits not ghosts, as soon as a ghosts communicates in some way the term slightly changes to perhaps poltergeist (a German name meaning noisy 'spirit')
So should I be afraid of ghosts...... No. in my view ghosts are nothing to worry about they are unconscious phenomena that seems to just replay and can be witnessed by simply being in the right place at the right time. They are capable of sounds but only in respect of sounds that accompany their presence for example whispers, talking, murmuring, groaning, screams, footsteps, banging about (without physical movement of objects) all of this in non communication simply accompanying audio, or random unaccompanied audio for example sounds without any visual phenomena,
Their presence can affect us in bizarre ways, the most common is the sensation of nausea, disorientation, and emotionally for example I have witnessed people become hysterical with laughter and also people in floods of tears simply because they are being affected by phenomena.
This is where Science comes into play.
If something can physically affect us we can trace the source and go someway to explain it, for example it is common for people that work in Pubs to claim that they feel the place is haunted, and feel particular uncomfortable in the cellar area, the sensation they report is usually consistent from one report to the next in that they feel like somebody is watching them, of they can feel slightly uncomfortable of even nauseous.
Well all these symptoms can be attributed to a thing we call EMF (electro magnetic field) if your exposed to height levels of EMF then you will be affected exactly as described above, it has even been said that fluctuating levels of EMF can cause hallucinations.
When you think about the cellars of many pubs this is where all the pumps, electrics and cabling are normally found which also generate EMF, in fact most electronic or electrical devises generate EMF. We have also tested these levels in these locations and it’s true the readings are off the scale normally.
We are aware that Science dose some wonderful and truly incredible things and as a result we always believe it, and why wouldn't we it saves lives advances our population increased our live span and given us a greater quality of life, we love science and all it brings.
However what is the thing we call science.. It’s a collection of results, its consistent studies of x=y=z. Also within science people do incredible things they explore the new, the theory, the possibilities for what becomes tomorrow’s facts.
Although the journey to discovery can also attribute some ridiculers things on its way. For example let’s not forget that science explained to us that the world was flat It treated sick people by draining them of their blood (blood letting). Fact is until somebody discovers something unproven things are regarded as poppy cock and nonsense..
Ladies and gentlemen let me introduce you to Paranormal a term used to explain ghosts, spirits, UFOs monsters, etc etc etc anything that is unexplained!
Science requires results to be consistent and therefore should be able to replicate phenomena by applying the conditions required in a consistent manner to equal the result.
My view to really investigate ghosts we have to keep our heads in the real world and at the same time use the possibilities to further our techniques.
