Coming from an artistic family near East Grinstead, it is hardly surprising that Sophie Carter, of Roots Hair Studio, is such a creative and talented hair stylist. Her mother, Sue, is also an award winning florist over in Crawley.
From her hairdressing salon in Railway Approach Sophie, as Creative Director, leads a team that provide a warm and friendly environment and are dedicated to providing great customer service to every client.

It is a small but friendly business. The hairdressers there are very welcoming and make you feel at ease. Recently my usual hairdresser was on maternity leave and I have had her as my hairdresser for a long time but I had to change to another one there whilst she was away. I was nervous to change as I have my hair coloured but the other hairdresser was fantastic and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this place. It is a hidden away treasure.
The service is brilliant, so down to earth and friendly. Having only been there a few times they remember my name every time!! I have loved the colour, cut and finish everytime and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
