In the short time that Grub was open in London Road East Grinstead it had made a real effort, under owner Steven Price, to establish itself as a real alternative to the formulaic approach of the national coffee shop businesses.
He had a a great menu, using locally sourced ingredients, and excellent staff. His mission to create a popular evening destination by showcasing local acts and with open mic evenings deserved to succeed.
What a shame that Steven has had to call time on the business. I will miss his interesting cafe.
