On Tuesday 16th February East Grinstead Library opened again to the public following a five month refurbishment programme. Brad Watson OBE, West Sussex County Council Cabinet Member for Communications and External Affairs declared the new look library open.

The library now boasts self-service machines that allow readers to carry out functions previously performed by librarians – such as checking out books. The machines allow people to stack up to 10 books which are read by a wireless device with their titles displayed on screen.

The ground floor of the library has changed extensively, with more open space. The children's library has been moved downstairs to suit families and the first floor now houses a teenage area with comfy seats and beanbags and a revised book layout.

Hi there. Welcome to my blog. I run a fascinating and popular business called thebestof East Grinstead. When I am not working with great local businesses that are recommended to us I enjoy family life and am also very keen on golf, racketball and cars.
