Set up in light of the difficulties faced by small, independent fashion business, The Fashion Trust works to support those to prosper in the tumultuous industry in which they struggle for space.
Research has been carried out to establish the issues facing our regional fashion industry, with a particular emphasis on the difficulties that lie in helping businesses to take their work into dedicated workspace – and the costs associated with it.
The first event by the Fashion Trust – The Sussex Fashion Awards – is underway; dedicated to raising the profile of the 15th largest industry in the UK, the awards recognise the achievements of those succeeding against the odds.
One of the most prestigious categories is of course the award for Best Independent Retailer of the Year. Despite the tough competition, our very own JoJo Boutique has been nominated for this category – nominated by their adoring customers!
