Sussex Sharks have named their squad for this evening’s Friends Life t20 clash with Middlesex Panthers at Lord’s (6.15pm start).
The Sharks saw off last season’s finalists Somerset at The PROBIZ on Tuesday in a low-scoring affair, as former Middlesex loanee Ollie Rayner claimed figures of 5 for 18 in his first FLt20 appearance of the season.
Sussex are piling the pressure on pacesetters Hampshire Royals at the top of the South Group and with their game in hand could move top of the table if they secure victory at Lord’s tonight.
Overseas star Wayne Parnell is struggling with injury after pulling up against Somerset so fellow left-arm seamer Naveed Arif Gondal is added to the squad.
The Sussex squad is as follows:
Amjad Khan
JS Gatting
MW Goodwin (c)
Naveed Arif Gondal
AJ Hodd (wkt)
CJ Liddle
CD Nash
R Naved-ul-Hasan
MS Panesar
OP Rayner
L Vincent
KO Wernars
LJ Wright
