I must own up to being a car enthusiast and that what goes with this territory is an absolute insistence on using a garge for its intended purpose - to house a car rather than household goods.
A number of years ago I had an automatic garage door opener fitted, complete with remote control that can be operated from within the car as you approach the garage. Once I had this installed I found it a hugely convenient piece of equipment, especially in bad weather, and one which I realised I would never want to be without.
