The East Grinstead Life Show took place at the Jubilee Centre to humungous success last Sunday, with over 600 people in attendance.
The event enabled people from all around the East Grinstead area to receive free health checks and chat to medical staff about health problems, and also offered entertainment from local performers, school troupes, and musicians.
Furthermore, nearly fifty stands filled the Jubilee Centre, including local charities and organisations, making the day a hugely successful and informative one.
Organiser Loral Bennett was understandably pleased with the triumph of the day: “All in all, it was a brilliant day and it came together very well” (taken from www.thisissussex.com).
Let’s hope that Mrs Bennett and the hard-working volunteers at the Council of Voluntary Services (CVS) continue their accomplishments with more sensational events such as this one. There's nothing better to bring a community together!
