St. Mark's Primary School in Lower Boston Road are holding the annual summer fete. There will be BBQ, Pocket Money Stall, Activity Corner, Bouncy Castle, Funfair rides, Jazz Band , Bric-a-Brac, food stalls and lots of other attractions. The local businesses are supporting the event and the local Indian posh nosh eaterie, Bawarchi, is providing a buffet stall. They will give you a soft drink and a balloon with every meal.
The fete starts at 12 p.m and will continue till 3 p.m. There will be a fancy dress parade, a talent contest, all star soccer road show along with other attractions. The organisers have taken care of everything - the only thing they cannot organise is the weather. However, now that the Wimbledon is over we can hope for decent sunny afternoon.
Tickets are 1 for adults, children and OAP's enjoy free entry.
