I must admit that I was a bit sceptical when I went for my first session of Bowen Technique with Stephen: I couldn't quite believe that something so non-invasive could effect a major change in my physical comfort. But I noticed a difference after the first treatment, and by the third the persistent neck and shoulder ache that I had had for years had disappeared, despite the fact that I had been doing a lot of sedentary work that would normally have made it worse. I would definitely go back and have recommended Stephen to various friends already.

Following a lifting injury I was in agony. My torso was visibly twisted and I could not sit down, stand still, drive, or do very much of anything. My g.p gave me a choice; a lifetime on prescription painkillers or risky spinal surgery.

Not wishing either of these (the painkillers did nothing anyway) and in misery through constant pain, I went through a series of expensive and unsuccessful visits to osteopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists.
