Very pleased to hear that Ealing Council is giving business rate relief to 650 small local businesses affected by the recent riots.
The business rate relief will total £187,000 and should help many cope with the hardship and loss of trade caused by the riots.
Other businesses in Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, South Ealing and Ealing Common that suffered from disruption but did not receive direct damage will be given one week free, with the discount capped at £500.
This is good news for many Best of Ealing clients affected notably Baby e boutique, Montague Lambert and Colin Bibra who all suffered damage and The Carpet and Flooring Centre, Northfields and The Press Gang who emerged unscathed despite rioting on their doorstep.
The council is also offering free parking in their town centre carparks for weekends in September which is a great incentive to Buy Local.
