As a local business lobbyist, mum, resident and business owner of baby e, Liz Pilgrim was delighted to be asked by the London Mayor’s office to appear alongside Boris Johnson at the recent ‘Let’s Talk Transport’ Public Meeting at Greenford Assembly Rooms on 19/1/11.
The debate proved both lively and informative and Liz was impressed by the turn out of attendees. “Transport is so important in Ealing and the public have to be kept informed of developments and plans. I agree with many of the attendees who voiced concern over the fact Ealing Broadway Station still has no step-free access. Many of my customers are mums with buggies and having experienced trying to get a buggy down those busy steps, it’s an absolute nightmare. I’m hopeful that Boris took on board our views and something will be done”
