Holiday Cottage/Rural Retreat
Our Red Brick Barn is located at 1300ft on a hillside in the beautiful, unspoilt "North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", and just outside the tiny village of Rookhope.
This fabulous Holiday Cottage/Rural Retreat is situated within 7 acres of farmland which you can freely roam.
Accommodation
The Red Brick Barn offers:
1 double with en-suite bath;
1 twin/double (zip beds) with en-suite shower;
Lounge with multi fuel stove;
Kitchen/diner;
Downstairs w.c.
Electricity is produced by a wind generator and all produce is home grown or locally sourced.
Linens, teas and coffees are fair trade and/or organic.
Teas, coffee, milk, eggs, bread, butter and jam are provided for each guest on arrival.
For residential clients: all meals, snacks, tea, coffee and anything else you need, are provided throughout your stay.

We take care of the environment and are firm believers of ethical living.
We have installed a 6 Kilowatt wind generator which makes so much electricity we are even able to sell some back!
In addition, we recycle, re-use and pass on, making it easier for you, as an Eco Tourist, to do the same.
