Unlike other coffee shops in Durham, the Brambles Coffee Shop is situated in a relaxing location within Poplar Tree Garden Cente - the ideal place to lunch.

Our Annual Trip To Durham is never complete without a trip to Brambles Coffee Shop just outside the City Centre next to the River Wear. This year we were amazed to see how many customers this place attracts. The popularity has shot through the roof and we counted no less than 90 people in at one time with empty tables being snapped up like hot cakes. Yet again the staff were curteous, polite, and always smiling. I do think these staff members must go through some sort of rigorous training as they never put a foot wrong. An absolute gem of a garden centre... must visit!
