I have moved house several times and each time the scottish shutter company has helped and advised me on curtain fabric/styles, different blind options and shutters.
It is an extemely friendly family business,very professional and nothing is too much of an effort.
Any amount of visits to house advising on different possibilities and taking measurements.Visits to their superb showroom is fun and lots of help at hand.
I will be re-visiting the scottish shutter company shortly to ask their expert advice for my latest project.
I get lots of great comments about my house and have no hesitation in recommending the scottish shutter company to my friends.

They have a fantastic customer service covering all of central Scotland not just Dundee.
They provide installation and never leave any mess, and will provide good advise on what your window needs even if it means delaying the purchase.

The friendly service - great welcome in the showroom - good advice - both there and working on-site in our house while it was being built, and then quick & efficient installation.
And the blinds do just what we want - we have three types sun-screen in the main lounge, semi-see-through in an office / workroom and dim-out in the bedroom.

Decorated my living room about ten years ago and it sat empty as I knew what I wanted but couldn’t find the right company to offer me exactly what I wanted. I had nothing on the windows for 10 years! I looked for fabrics but shutters were still at the front of my mind so I persevered and stuck to my guns as I would rather have nothing than settle for second best! I discovered The Scottish Shutter Company and I have been absolutely over the moon with my shutters and with them from the moment we first spoke. The boys tidied up after themselves and at all times were very personable and professional.

The shutters were worthwhile waiting for. They have really enhanced my lounge. The workmanship and customer service has been fantastic, I have had no problems and needless to say no complaints and would highly recommend them to anyone – nothing but positive comments about the whole family at The Scottish Shutter Company. Well, it's the personal service which is not just a gimmick or an add-on to make the publicity sound and look good, but is a real part of the way this company works. I have had two sets of shutters fitted, and although I am in a different town from the company,there was never any problem of communication (unlike other work where I have encountered unanswered messages and tradesmen not showing up as arranged.) The work itself was carried out very quickly and efficiently, and the price was excellent considering the quality of the job.

I have been buying from this family business for 15 years and they truly know what good service should be. From the little touches like putting in a picture frame in our son`s bedroom when we first moved into our house, to fixing a blind when they have come into the house to complete another job. They remember their clients no matter how long ago you were last in the shop. The quality of their products is very good, and they take a genuine interest in understanding your needs, and work with you to ensure you know exactly what you are buying, explaining the differences between different products. This is what service should be like everywhere.

The service was outstanding. Friendly, understanding and informative withoiut being to heavy on the sell. Indeed, I was so impressed with the service that I recommeded the Company to my Sister who also bought shutters and was equally delighted with the product and the service. In my experinece few companies are worthy of 5 stars. However, The Scottish Shutter Company is the exception and would be worth 6 stars if possible.
