I started a 12 week outdoor boot camp session with Louise, I was highly overweight and unfit, so it was with some fear I arrived for my first session at Lochee Park. I think most first time had a look of abject terror across their faces so we were not hard to spot. After the first night training and the next morning I was stiff and sore but was pleased with myself, Louise manages to encourage you to be the best you can be, every one has their own individual needs and are expected to work hard to improve their own levels of fitness. She over the 12 session which were completely different taught us to push ourselves and encourage the group to work hard, there was a lot of laughter and banter going on within the group so it was always fun. After 12 session I lost 13lbs and increased my fitness levels by at least 100%, I have more confidence in myself and know I can push myself harder. I will continue to train with Louise as she really knows what she doing, she inspires me to do better.

I met Louise at the Good health fitness gym in the City Quay, I have started at the beginners running club and am really enjoying it, I always wanted to take it up but always got really breathless when I started, Louise explained that i need to slow down and build up my stamina first before working on my pace.
I also had my first thump box class last week and it was amazing, great fun and a great work out.
Louise is very dedicated and approachable and her classes are great fun.
I only started at the gym last July and being 55 and very unfit and a good couple of stones overweight it has made a tremendous differnce to me.

I first met Louise exactly a year ago after bidding for 4 personal training sessions at a charity auction .
At that time I was overweight and unfit. I had not excercised for at least 15 years and had put on a lot of weight after the birth of my two children.
I had tried lots of diet classes in the past but nothing worked and it was all a short time fix . I would lose weight then slip back into my old habits .I tried crash diets and magazine detox diets but I was just left tired and depressed with little energy for two small children. My husband who is very sporty tried for years to motivate me by getting gym memberships but I always made excuses that I was too tired or didn't have the time .
Working with Louise has changed my life and those changes have easily allowed me to lose 2 1/2 stone and without any dieting ! Louise has taught me about good nutrition ,portion control and new ways of looking at food . Her PT sessions are fantastic and for the first time I now enjoy excercise.

I started bootcamps and THUMP boxing with Louise last month after seeing it on facebook. Louise varies all the exercises so no 2 bootcamps/sessions are the same and there is no chance to get bored-the time flies in and every exercise is fully explained and demonstrated (as often as it takes to sink in). I had initially worried about being left behind, as my fitness levels are poor from years of sitting on the couch doing nothing, but that was quickly forgotten as Louise makes sure no member of the team is left behind or stuck, every exercise is adaptable and managable to make sure you are getting the very most out of each session, and I'm loving it.

I really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor camps. The outdoor activities were really good. I thought as a trainer Louise was very good and help you to do the correct things to get the best out of each excercise. I will use louises again in teh future and recomend her to anyone interested in the classes she offers.

Louise runs a great fitness class for all ages. I like the way she caters for everyone taking into account each individuals needs. The classes are run well with health and safety paramount for the clients. Its a great way to get fit and have some fun too, into the bargain.

I decided I wanted to loose some weight and tone up. I came across Louise's Bootcamp class and decided to give it ago! I started 8 weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I never knew I could be so toned! The classes are intense but really fun and such a laugh! The good thing about it is that louise doesn't just tell you to do the exercises and let you get on with it she goes along with you and teaches you how to do them properly to work the right places so you do not cause your self an injury! I have never understood how to get my core or what it even meant but within a few weeks of attending the class I had learned all about it. I also learned how to do crunches without hurting my neck, a problem that I had suffered with for years! The best part is I have lost 1st and counting!!

I would definitely recommend you try it out!

I had only planned to go to Louise's bootcamp classes for a 4 week block and 2 months later I am still going. I get bored easily with fitness routines that are the same every week and tend to drop out after a couple of weeks. However at bootcamp no 2 classes are the same and the variety keeps it interesting. Also the classes go in really quick...beats spending hours in a gym!

I often train alone, so find it very difficult to measure my progress or know when to alter my fitness routine. Louise's Bootcamp sessions were absolutely the best decision I have made when it comes to my exercise regime. The structure of the classes are fantastic - because the group is quite small, Louise can focus her attention on each participant without leaving anyone out. Due to a lack of input over the last few years, I realised that I had been doing lunges wrong and that had been affecting my overall balance when doing other stretches and exercises and probably could have been damaging my knees as well! Louise pointed this out to me at the first session and by the end, I had already noticed the difference! The range of training changed each week to incorporate all abilities and exercises - I picked up some really amazing tips and the whole experience has left me completely re-energised and motivated. I would recommend Bootcamp to anyone new or like me needing a bit of a change.

Louise's PT 4 U offers fantastic classes, either boot camp or boxing. I have attended both and they are equally as good.
Boot camp is fantastic exercise and covers every part of your body. The classes are done in different ways every time so it is not repetitive and you don't know what to expect for the next class.
I work shifts so can't always go to the same class evey week but thankfully Louise is very flexible and with a bit of notice I can keep in touch with her and change class days that suit.
There is a really good mix of people at all different levels of fitness, and you workout at your own level with a bit of persuasion from Louise!!
Boxing has alot of the same good points and although alot of the exerceises are for your arms you also workout other parts of your body to.

I approached Louise as I had applied for the Police and wanted to ensure I was fit.I signed up initially for 5 sessions however got so addicted signed up for another 5.I completed the sessions over 6 weeks, at the start of the course I could not do a press up or complete a few other exercises I can honestly say that without these sessions I would not have achieved my goals on my own just working out in the gym.
Louise worked with me on improving my technique and pushed me as she knew what I was capable of however she knew it was important to me and motivated every step of the way... even putting up with my random texts!I reduced my mile and a half run from over 16 minutes down to 13mins20 secs, I was able to complete 20 full press-ups when before I couldn’t do 1. I lost half a stone, reduced my hip measurements by 4 inches and waist by 2 inches.

I started Louise's bootcamp classes last summer and loved them, however moving into the winter switched to THUMP boxing. Similar to the bootcamp sessions the boxing was different, exciting, challenging and also definitely gave positive results!
I would say to anyone wanting to tone up, get fit, and lose weight or simply to make new friends whilst training away from the boring gym, then you definitely need to sign up for some classes.....
Louise is an amazing motivator and really knows how to get the best out of you in each session, but don’t just take it from me, take part in one of the classes and find out for yourself, you have nothing to lose! But please be warned you may become addicted!!!

I've known louise a long time and i've worked with her in the gym and then i went to her outdoor bootcamp. She made it fun and hard work and it was challenging. I have also been going to her boxing class. I'm finding it a bit difficult to keep up in the class but louise is always ready to help and i take on board what she says. She is a great personal trainer because she always makes us feel that we can do that little bit more to achieve our goals. Thanks Louise.

I finally joined the classes in the summer this year, as I was bored of my own fitness regime. I could not believe how much of a difference these classes made, I lost 4% body fat in the first 4 weeks, and noticed a huge difference - as did everybody else who knew me! The classes are fun, different and work every part of your body. I would definitely recommend trying Louise 's PT4U for bootcamps or personal training.

Louise provides lots of training options that will suit all. I have had one-to one training in the gym, plus group classes indoors and out. It has been a positive, fun and educational experience. I have been doing Louise's bootcamp for 5 or 6 weeks now and the results I have gained with her don't even compare to what I achieved in the gym over 6 months. I've lost inches and gained so much muscle definition that I never had before. And to top it all over... The bootcamp classes and so much fun. It was a great experience as this is something that i have never done before. Bootcamps are held outside, which is something new to me. Also the varied ages and level of fitness of every bootcamper was taken into consideration. Louise is a very good instructor, always giving advice and trying to better techniques when needed. She is also very good at motivating people! I also noticed a big improvement in my strength and weight over the month. I have also booked more sessions with Louie and i am looking into joining her other classes and PT sessions. I would definitely recommend Louise for classes and PT.

I joined louise pt 4 u, over 5 weeks ago. The bootcamps are great for meeting new people and it is always a laugh when you are there, and each week it is something different, which keeps you on your toes. Since i have joined my running has improved, and have started to push with myself, and with louise's focus, support and ethusiasm has helped me motivate myself!! i recommend this to anyone is wants to get fit and up for a laugh!!!

I went to Louise because i was in a rut & not doing any excercise & wanted to lose weight. She helped me a great deal by showing me how to change my eating habits & increase the amount of fluid i was drinking. I am now doing more excercise & i feel much more positive about myself. Just completed my first 4 week block of sessions and signed up for another 4!! I can't emphasise how amazing these sessions are. No session I have ever had in the gym on my own has ever gave me the results I was looking for , nor have I ever pushed myself so hard and feel like I have really enjoyed myself .... So if you are looking for a workout with a difference, one that will get great results, help you achieve your goals, make you feel like you have actually worked out all whilst having a good laugh...that’s right laughter whilst exercising is possible, then Louise’s sessions are for you. I joined the gym because I do ice skating and I needed to work on my core work and to strengthen my legs as we do spins and a lot of leg work in skating. I had no need to lose weight as I am the right weight for my height but through the gym sessions I put on muscle which was good which helped my skating moves which my coach was very happy about. Louise would always make it different which I enjoyed as I like a challenge, my gym sessions were well tailored to what I need as the core work was the most important - to stay upright! When I first started with Louise I found it quite a challenge but worked quite hard and then in started to show in my skating which got stronger, my moves were more fluid and I managed to pass my silver in figure skating and ice dance. I am very pleased with Louise as my PT and I would not change her as she knows what to put in my programmes to keep them interesting whilst working on all the things I need. A Wilkinson

My reasons for starting personal training were the usual - to lose weight and become toned. I also recognised that I was badly needing to change poor eating habits and exercise regime that had not altered in a long time. Never having worked with a PT before I was at the same time apprehensive and excited. A fear of not being able to do the programme or attain expected results - yet excited by doing something different. Working with a PT definitely gave me the motivation to keep going and change my routine. The advice on food habits, information about how the body works and technique of individual exercises were especially rewarding. My main targets were achieved which was extremely satisfying. I started with Louise as I needed to lose weight and realised using the gym regularly would need to be part of my plan if I was to be successful. I lacked the expertise, knowledge and self-discipline to 'go it alone' so Louise was drafted in to provide these things! I was very unhappy with my body shape so I had to get help to do something about it. Louise was friendly and helpful, took time to listen and explained how to achieve what I wanted. She was very motivational and made me believe I could truly realise my goals. Louise sensed if I was losing heart and would encourage me to keep going, sending a quick text to check I was still working on my goals.With her help I have succeeded in gaining fitness and self-confidence. I have lost weight and dropped 2 dress sizes and look and feel so much better for it! I fully intend continuing this journey and maintaining what I have started. Then I saw other people with a trainer and decided to give it a go knowing I would be instructed and shown the proper way to exercise in my aims to keep fit and lose weight. I have been going to Louise for PT for about 2 years now. I can say it has made a real difference to my life. I am stronger, fitter and have far more energy. I really appreciate the lifestyle advice and can always hear her voice telling me to get up and go! The nutritional advice Louise gives is very targeted. I am vegetarian but she has managed to find ways to get me out of food habits that are unhelpful and really make me think about what I eat. I would recommend Louise for PT to anyone of any age.

I have just begun my 2nd 4week block of 3-times-a-week Outdoor Bootcamp!! Never thought I would actually say that :) I was surprised I made it through the first block +actually really wanted to keep going! I joined up for the first block after my flatmate saw an offer online for Louise's PT 4 U, +encouraged me to give it a go as she knew I was unhappy with my weight+I was a have a few health issues which cause me some difficulties/ worry, plus I am pretty unfit..although getting fitter by the day :D The distances I have run have really surprised my+ I have now stopped smoking +have not used my inhaler at training for sometime now! Louise has been absolutely fantastic and I never thought I would actually enjoy doing this but I really am. Sessions are never boring, we always have a giggle and the encouragement and attention Louise pays to every individual means you get the get the techniques right+the most out of it that you can. I will continue to recommend this! Fab!!

Absolutely love Louise's boot camps, a great way to keep fit. Initially I was apprehensive about doing all of the boot camp classes outside but I now embrace every minute - rain or shine! Louise ensures that every class is different, and tailors each exercise to each individuals needs.

Louise's classes have greatly improved my fitness, and I can do much more now than I ever could. As well as this, she gives great nutritional advice and always has time to answer any questions, look at food diaries and so on.

I would highly recommend Louise's boot camps to anyone!

I signed up for an outdoor 4 week fitness bootcamp. It's been really hard work with amazing results, i have lost 4 inch's 2% body fat and have gained much more energy. I went to classes at Lochee Park and the City Quay. They push you really hard but it's fun and well worth the effort. It must be good i've just signed up for another 4 weeks. I have been going to Lousie for around 6 months now and really feel the benefits. I have lost weight, toned up and feel much fitter in general. Lousie gives me great encouragement but also tells me when I am slacking:) If it hadn't been for attending Louise's classes I dont think I would have worked nearly as hard or even kept it up. The advice is excellent and is tailored to fit in with my hectic lifestyle. I would recommend to anyone.

I first met Louise to do a indoor weight loss bootcamp, I was really nervous to go at first but Louise made me feel at ease and told me to work at my own pace, even in a group. I got weighed every week and Louise gave great dietary advice on my weekly food diary and encouraged me to keep going. I started to lose weight and tone up which also helped build my confidence. I am now doing the outdoor bootcamp which is great fun getting out and meeting people, better than going to a gym getting bored on a treadmill then wondering around thinking what will i do next? Louise makes you work really hard pushing you outside your comfort zone, but you will feel fantastic after it. Since meeting Louise i have dropped two dress sizes, feel more toned and much more confident. If you want to change your lifestyle give Louise a call.

What I love is the way I feel afterwards, yes its hard to get there and yes its hard while i'm there but the feeling afterwards makes it all worth it - the more Louise learns about the person the more she can do for you by working you to your level and as you get stronger she pushes a bit further but never too much - just enough but that makes all the difference to the whole person.

I did't think I would last but have found myself signing up for another 4 weeks and will more than likely continue for a long time to come. It is a great way to work out and to meet other people. Although bootcamp is a group session, Louise knows how to alter each excercise to individual needs, so you get the best out of every session. I have recently joined Mums on a Mission and it's brilliant. Baby comes with you while you exercise and my mum tum is well and truly on its way out! It's great meeting other mums and Louise is highly motivational and caters for all fitness levels. I don't even mind exercising in the rain :) I can honestly say I look forward to my weekly session and would recommend it to new mums and mums to be.

After the birth of my daughter I've been struggling to find time to do exercise to shake off my pregnancy weight and get back into shape. Then I heard about Mums on a Mission and joined the class. In only three weeks my muscles are much more toned up and my clothes start to fit. The great advantage of these classes is that you are with your baby all the time, so you don't have to worry about babysitting. Because these classes are taken outdoors, your baby benefits too and you can enjoy the fresh air.

The bootcamps are such good fun and a real "breath of fresh air" to my normal excersise regime. It is a great way to meet new people and although great fun, also a great workout too!

I highly recommend PT with Louise.
Not only do you learn the correct way to execute the excersise, but you learn the benefits for you'r body and the muscle group it targets.
There is great variation to the PT sessions; every week is a different experience.
Great nutritional advice and suggestions given to help you achieve you'r goals.

I have just recently joined Louise's mums on a mission class and I love it. It is great to be able to excercise, take the baby and spend time outside. Prior to my pregnancy I was a gym bunny but I feel that I can't take the baby with me and I have no-one that could look after him during the day :( Louise makes the classes fun, provides variety as well as advising on excercises that I can do at home in order to get as much benefit as possible. I would recommend it to everyone :)

After moving to Dundee over 2 years ago I initially wanted to lose weight, improve fitness and tone up. After starting 1-2-1 sessions with Louise I was soon well underway to acheiving not only the above goals but also making positive changes towards a healthy lifestyle (and was surprised to learn that this involves eating sufficient food!). This in turn had such a positive physical and mental impact on my life, boosting my confidence to tackle anything that was thrown at me. Louise encourages you to push right to the end in order to acheive what you want. With this confidence I then took part in the 3 Peaks Challenge. I have also taken part in many of Louise's Bootcamps over the last 2 years and I have to say they make exercise really enjoyable! The exercises are always tailored to your needs even though you are part of a group. All of this has enabled me to sign myself up for challenges that I would have once thought were totally out of my depth. Very highly recommended!

Louise’s PT 4 U has made a world of difference to me. Being over 60, and never having gone to a gym before, I was very reluctant. But with Louise’s help, advice and encouragement, I am really enjoying it. I initially enrolled for a 10-week group session, where I was introduced to boxersize, step, weights and spin classes, to name just a few. I must admit to being pretty frightened at some of the things I was being asked to do, but with Louise as my guide, encouraging me all the way, it became a real pleasure. After my 10 week session was complete, I was so impressed by Louise that I requested some individual sessions with her. I needed help to help with my stiffness due to arthritis, and to help get a little more supple. Again Louise was terrific, she helped me with a specific exercises program and advised me of exercises I could also do at home. I feel so much better now – thanks to Louise and her skills and patience.

I love Louise's (Louise pt4u) Mums on a Mission class. I get to exercise safely and take my baby with me. He loves getting outside and taking part. I have met lots of new mums and we all love the variety of exercise as it works the whole body and keeps it fun. Louise is highly experienced and I know that I can get the right advice on how to exercise safely and get fit and healthy after having my baby.

This is an exercise group for women who are pregnant and women who have babies. The real gem is that you can take your baby along with you and the exercises are designed around you having baby and pram with you! This seems to be a unique concept in Dundee and it's great that you don't need to get a babysitter in order to do exercise. The leader, Louise, works you hard but also knows her stuff when it comes to exercise specifically geared towards women who are pregnant or who have recently given birth - what you can and can't do,how to get your body back in shape post-baby etc. It's also a great way to meet other mums and share baby stories etc. A brilliant class!
