This is a short note to thank you for helping us achieve what we thought was impossible. We've struggled with our weight for as long as I can remember and we tried everything: decreasing our food intake to a minimum and endless memberships to the gym. We always gave up very quickly but thanks to your ideas and simple solutions we found a way of life that we are able to maintain and enjoy. your guidance has helped us find our motivation, a new wardrobe (our old one) and more energy.
As you very wisely put it: 'Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels!', and it is true.

Just wanted to share my good news on my anniversary. A year since I came to your class in Kirrie.. boy what a difference a year makes! I've lost almost 4st. and have kept my weight off for the last 4 months,to say I'm ecstatic is putting it mildly. Also brilliant is my yearly MOT with my GP. Got back wonderful results in particular my cholesterol level down from 4.8 to 3.1 making my GP a very happy man! Before attending Gwen's classes I made every excuse for not losing weight- I was big boned, underactive thyroid, cooking healthy using olive oil, no frying etc etc I was down to my target weight within 6 months of going to Gwen's classes. This proved what a load of rubbish I had been fooling myself with. I am now the healthiest I have been in 40 years and my husband has also lost 3st through my new cooking methods and supporting me in regaining my health and to look good in the process. I have been trying to diet for approx 14 years with no success, maybe lost a pound or two but it never stayed off. Then I read in the Sunday Post about Gwen's diet and decided to email her, stating I was 68, 11st 3lbs, loved my food especially curry. I was not a couch potato but could not afford gym fees. Gwen's prompt reply promised me I would be 10 stone by summer. I will admit to getting mixed up a bit with the 'plan' but I bombarded poor Gwen with lengthy emails getting the answers I needed by return. A very patient lady. Here I am now down to 9st 13 and eating more than before! Yes I do still miss sticky toffee pudding but can now have it as the odd treat (shut your eyes at that bit Gwen). The only disappointment was that Gwen promised me to be 10st by the summer - yes I am 10 st but where is the summer? I am looking forward to healthier future and of course still having my beloved curry. Thank you Gwen. Margaret xx

On 23rd March I went along to Karine's Brechin class weighing 11st 12lbs 7ozs, 13wks later I had reached my target weight of 10st 4lbs. I found the eating plan very easy to follow,
I still stick to either orange or lilac days and have a 200cal. treat every day (sometimes more!!) and more than two months after reaching target I weigh 10st!!

The eating plan is something I can follow forever as it just does'nt seem like a diet and I am never hungry in fact I am eating more and healthier than I have done for years.

On reaching target I took up the offer for free hair style, skin analysis, and make up at Saks in Dundee, where the staff were delightful. I came away feeling I had been really pampered.

Being a male aged 64, 63 when I started (no it didn't take me a year) I did not want to go into a mainly female class environment (no offence ladies) so I became an online member where I emailed my weight each week. I could do this in privacy. On 22nd Nov. I was 15st 6lbs - 17 wks later I weighed in at a cool 12st 8 lbs and still am today. Seeing the weekly progress gave me the encouragement to keep going. At the beginning I never thought I could do it It was not hard to follow the gwenmccreadie.com eating plan. I just set my mind to it and planned the route to go each day. I have not been alone in my achievement, my advisor Moira Robertson has been such a help all the way through even though we only met 3 times in the 17 wks. It was her enthusiasm and advice in weekly emails that guided me to my goal for which I am deeply grateful.Thanks also to Gwen who I never met but looked forward to her weekly newsletters. I have had a bit of a start - stop to my gwenmccreadie eating plan. I did initially lose 2 stones (which I thought was great) but have since put back on 7lb due to not attending class weekly and thinking (much to my dismay on the scales) that I could manage to do it alone. Now I know I can't really manage and that I need the support of Moira at class. I am now attending weekly class again with great tips and chat from Moira. She always has brilliant recipes with her from the recipe books and encourages us to try new things and vary what we eat. My problem is I tend to eat the same things and really there are NO foods we cannot eat. Seeing other members reach their target weights has been a real inspiration and Moira has really spurred me on to reach my target weight this time. Thanks Moira. Lou McD

I retired in June09 and was diagnosed with cancer so spent 6 months "keeping fit" flitting from one appointment to another. At my all clear in Jan10 I noticed the pounds creeping on, my lifestyle did not include much exercise. I was jumping on the bus where I would have once walked. I just needed to lose a few pounds and thank the day I heard about Gwen McCreadie. My hairdresser who had lost 3.5 stones told me how she had done it. At my first meeting in Dec I weighed 10st2lb.7 meetings on I am at my target weight of 9st5lb. Apart from looking much better I feel so much better and will carry on following the healthy eating plan which is simple,tasty and inexpensive,not to lose weight this time but to feel healthy. I will still go to meetings as I'm learning so much about health in a friendly way. You can eat as much as you like of some foods so I never felt hungry,so I can maintain my weight. As a professional photographer I was asked by Gwen to carry out a photoshoot of one of her clients who had reached her target weight.
I had seen photographs of Evelyn before she had attended the classes so I was interseted to see the results.
To say I was surprised is no understatement. Boy did she look different.
The photoshoot was completed after the girls at SAKS Dundee had cut Evelyn's hair and applied subtle makeup and did she look a million dollars of what.
What I found in Evelyn was a totally relaxed and confident person who was very pleased with her achievment and rightly so.
This was in no small part due to Gwen McCreadie's 'Lifestyle' and Evelyn's own determination to loose weight.
I recommend Gwen's programme to anyone wanting to loose weight, feel good and look great.
Hmm .... As I look at my own body perhaps it's time for me to do likewise!!!

i joined gwen's blairgowrie class last august and was instantly impressed with the eating plan.not only is it easy to follow, the recipes are are suitable for all cooking abilities, tastes and changing moods. the choice is wide,there are meals of convenience if time is limited, but also suitable for entertaining guests at dinner parties without them realising it is healthy eating.every day you have 200 calories to do whatever you want so you can have that choccie biscuit or packet of crisps if thats what you crave.the best thing about all this is gwen herself.never have i met anyone who is so devoted to what she does.she is a very remarkable lady.she is passionate about her plan,dedicated to her clients even offering me the oppertunity to help her in class writing down clients attending etc which in turn encourages me to try harder.having tried other 'slimming classes'i found the best.i have lost nearly 3 stone so it really does work.and i am never hungry.
