Over the last 12 months I have been consistently impressed by Wychavon District Council's commitment to supporting local businesses. Janet Yates as the Town Centre Manager is very active out and about doing many things in the town.

We are extremely fortunate to have such a great Mayor in Councillor Mrs Lynne Duffy (I don't know how she fits everything in!) and the Leader of the Council, Linda Robinson.

WDC is certainly a very different type of Council to any I've previously been used to and I'm hugely impressed by the way they work with us locally.

When the High Street Gas Works was due to happen they actively sought the feedback - in advance - from local businesses and did all they could to 'fix things before they went wrong'.

They ask, they listen and they take action.

It was a joy to work with them - they sponsored a marketing seminar which was free to attend for local businesses.

Fantastic. Thank you to all the team at WDC. Long may we continue to work in partnership.
