As software requirements increase it became clear to me that our existing elderly server was not up to the task despite your best efforts under our support contract to keep it going. Your quote for a new server was comprehensive and a timetable worked out and kept to for the installation to minimise disruption.

The work was completed quickly and your engineers were able to offer advice and assistance in tailoring the installation to my requirements when in the office.

Most importantly, for a small business such as mine the price was reasonable as I have been quoted vastly higher sums for a similar service.

I have known Ian in his role at Compass for the best part of a year now but only recently did I have the opportunity to experience the service level on offer.
When I dropped my laptop - not covered by warranty, Ian was able to give me a rapid assessment of the damage, turnaround time and cost. Charges were quoted i.e. very reasonable, did not invalidate the warranty and he rectified a further problem at no extra cost. So i'm now back to swearing by my computer rather than at it. As a copy writer I interview a vast number of people throughout the year and need a Dictaphone to record their comments. My existing equipment was dated, unreliable and data could not be transferred to my computer. Roy sourced an excellent option that records interviews in MP3 format and transfers via USB to my Mac - the perfect solution. Roy also provided at very short notice a remote presenation controller. As my Accountancy practice has grown over the last year or so, I have had a number of opportunities to use the services of Compass and have found them to be excellent in every aspect.
I am not a technical wizard so I tend to hand the decision making about equipment supply over to other people. I can honestly say that this has never happened with Compass. As a copywriter I hold vast amounts of sensitive clients' work on my MAC desktop computer. I recently needed to purchase quite a bit of computer equipment and the ease with which I was able to do this via Roy is worthy of further praise.
