Droitwich Spa Salt Day this Saturday.

A day to celebrate Droitwich Spa’s association with salt. Re-enactment, fine foods, entertainment, canal boat rides, stalls and markets. 11am - 5pm. Admission free.

We went to the inaugural Salt Day and had a really good day out.  The weather was really warm and it brought the crowds out in their droves.

My little boy had his face painted, watched the Roman soldiers fight it out with their swords, I enjoyed the crepes, signed up for an organic veggie box, got some Christmas stocking fillers from the market stalls and thoroughly enjoyed spending a day out in the town.

I love Droitwich anyway and for me, this was a good excuse to spend the whole day there.  See you there!!
