Rathdune House Bed and Breakfast Testimonials

Myself and 9 other mad Scottish golfers stayed here for 3 nights in May 2009 whilst we played golf courses in the vacinity. The facilites and reception were excellent with the staff doing all they could to make us welcome. Rooms were spotless and ensuite facilities outstanding. Very central with a very short walk into town. This may be called a B & B but it puts many supposed quality hotels to shame. I will return either with my golf friends or family since I think we would struggle to get better quality and value for money in the area.

Friday 2nd May 2008 was my first time to stay in Rathdune House,Downpatrick as I was coming to Northern Ireland for the first time to teach Integrated Energy Therapy Healing Angel Classes in The Wholistic Centre on St Patrickʼs Avenue.I had traveled from Athboy,Co Meath.I googled accommodation for a B&B and I was very impressed with the information and photographs of Rathdune House.The site that I logged into was "The Best of Downpatrick".
Ann-Marie the owner, made me very welcome on my arrival and I was very impressed with the lay-out of my room which included Tea/Coffee/Biscuits and an On-Suite which was excellent and well laid out.The Friendliness and Warmth that was given to me was very much appreciated.My Bed was one of the most Comfortable beds that I have slept in and because of my work and that it brings me to many parts of Ireland,this was one of the most comfortable.The Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety and I would very Highly Recommend it as I was not Hungry for the rest of the day.I will Recommend this B&B to my friends as it is very central to everything and with-in walking distance.It was great to be welcomed by such friendly people like Ann-marie and her staff to a part of the country that I intend to travel to many times.I will definitely be staying here whenever I am teaching the IET Healing Classes in Downpatrick.Thank you for your fantastic welcome and I wish you much success for the future.Edmond Carroll

the hotel is very clean and comfortable, with everything you`d need. The staff are pleasent, friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was lovely,we can from England for a family wedding.there was 7 of us in our party from the age of 10 to 71 years old and all of us had a wonderful time. We will all recommed the Rathdune to anyone coming to Ireland
