Purple Sage Testimonials

Being a DPK lad, I went back home in dec 2009, and was joined in Purple Sage for a meal with family and friends. The staff dealt very professionably with our large table booked at very short notice, and the food and the mood of the place was first rate. The menu was varied and exciting tho for me, the Locally produced Pidgeon and Venison were amazing. I cannot remember ever having a meal of this standard in DPK ever before. I will certainly be booking myself in from now on, with each visit back to the hometown. I must add, that we had a party of 14 people, and some fussy eaters to boot, and we didnt have one complaint, or even a slight grumble from anyone in the party. They all loved it, and thats rare to be able to please everyone. Was great value too. This all housed in a building with such age and character, and historic importance for Downpatrick. Just a beautiful evening all round. I simply cannot say enough, Thanks alot.

Found this perfect place to eat within the heart of downpatrick. It was the most exciting experience to know we had a hidden gem within our midst. The food was exquisite, the staff and the relaxing atmosphere complemented each other beautifully. Will be returning on a regular basis and have encouraged friends and family to do as well.

This place is amazing if you have not been here yet get there soon the food and prices are fantastic and the service is great. Really worth a trip there you will not be disappointed.
