Originally recommended to me by the garden designer, AllThingsGreen, I requested an estimate from Mattree to pollard a very large willow that had been seriously damaged during a recent storm. The estimate was competitive and, following formal approval of the proposals by the Tree Officer of R&BRDC, the work was duly completed just three weeks ago. The operation was carried out with great efficiency and all large pieces of timber lowered carefuly to the ground to prevent damage to plants and lawn. On completion, the debris was carefully cleared up to the satisfaction of myself and my neighbour, who was also most impressed. Altogether, a very successful operation and I and my neighbour are about to contact Mattree again re some stump-grinding work.
