My husband and I visited the Blue Vinny not having been there for over 20 years as we moved out of the area. We found the food and service fantastic and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Carol S

We have eaten at The Blue Vinny on 4 occasions over the last 6 months and found the quality of the service and the food to be very good each time.

My wife and I had dinner at The Blue Vinny last night for the first time, despite having lived in in the area for eight years!

We enjoyed the buzz of this contemporary but unpretentious restaurant and were impressed by the way in which a (seemingly) small number of waiting/bar staff kept a large number of drinkers and diners happy. The kitchen clearly functioned very efficiently too - I was amazed at the rate consistently good looking food kept appearing from behind the door.

We both really enjoyed our food, which was beautifully presented.

Having been frequently disappointed at eating out in Dorset - we are Londoners in origin - it's great to find somewhere, virtually on our doorstep, where we can get good food & service to match.

Highly recommended.

We went to the Blue Vinney on Friday for the first time for a family celebration. When I walked in I was really surprised by the lovely contempory decor. The service was great without being overbearing. Our table was reserved and looked lovely. The seats were really comfortable.
The menu gave plenty of choice and was very reasonably priced. It was less than many pub grub places, yet in restaurant setting. The presentation was excellent, and the quality of the food was 'simple' done exceptionally well. The service was quick, helpful and efficient.

I had local crab salad, which was beautifully tasty and fresh. My favourite dessert is Creme Brulee, so I went for the White Chocolate one on the menu. Good choice - it was heavenly with a surprise of a thin layer of white chocolate in the base.

Would I go back - most definitely. Congratulations for providing such a lovely venue. Simple, courteous and good quality.
