At thebestofderby, we listen to the public, and let them tell us who the best businesses are in the city.
We heard some great reports from parents about St. Wystan's School, an independent school in Repton, near Derby, so arranged to go along and check it out.
One of the things we always ask from a business that we are considering for membership is testimonials from customers. So we were delighted that the Pupils' School Council had met that morning, and had a brainstorming session to let us know what they loved about their school.
Here's some of the things that they wrote:
Good Friends - Smart Uniform - Small Classes - Our own jobs - Healthy snacks - Good staff - Big playground - Good behavior - Amazing facilities - Games - Swimming - Nice dinners - Speech day - Hard work.
We had a fantastic tour of the school, led by a couple of pupils who were a credit to St. Wystan's.
In all, we received the best "customer" feedback that we've heard for any business so far.
