A MINI Adventure

The other day, the dashboard on thebestofderby MINI told me it was time for a service (the car-not me!)

Booking in was a doddle; I was offered a while-u-wait service which would take less than two hours.

I arrived a bit early this morning to check the car in, but I don't think I really needed to be there. The car tells the dealer what it needs when the service receptionist, Kimberley plugs the ignition key into a reader, clever stuff.

I was made comfy in the coffee lounge and given a welcome brew, allowing me a little time to do some work, and a bit of blogging.

Coffee done, I was offered a look at the new MINI Countryman. It's a MINI but bigger. Five doors, five seats, a bigger boot, and the option of four wheel drive. I think MINI will attract a whole new market of people looking for something a bit more practical than the standard hatchback.

VW Golf watch out.

Mean while, my car was serviced, washed and vacuumed, and ready to hit the streets again searching the the best businesses in the city.

Thanks Stratstone for great service.
