The trust's charitable work includes community fundraising with caring individuals, schools, voluntary committees and organisations; partnerships with local and national businesses,
as well as appealing to Charitable Giving Trusts and Foundations.
All the donations received by the charity directly help in the excellent work and care that is carried out at the Trust's hospitals and clinics,.The donations may fund anything from capital developments and medical equipment to comfort enhancing equipment, art supplies and care for our patients.

Most wards and departments have their own charitable funds used to buy extra equipment or items to make their patients' stay more comfortable. Contributions or donations can be made directly to them or the Fundraising Department would be pleased to accept donations on their behalf. Either way you will receive a receipt for your kind donation and offered the opportunity to make your money go even further by taking advantage of the extra 28% available via Gift Aid from the Inland Revenue.
Ways you can help our charitable organisation
There are many ways you can help to support and care for our patients - one of them is to fundraise on our behalf..............
Many people come to us with fundraising events already planned and organised; others know they want to help, but need support to generate ideas and guide them in the right direction. Your support does not have to be in cash – we can use your ideas, time, goods or services.
**Organise a charitable fundraising event in your locality (we can help with suggestions).
**Join one of our existing charitable organisations eg a hospital League of Friends which is local to you.
**Leave a donation via a bequest in your Will.
**Request donations in lieu of flowers or birthday gifts.
**Raise money through sponsored events (running, swimming, walking, riding, etc)
**Get your company (or your employer's company) to sponsor or donate to our work.
