Wingham Country Market sells huge range of organic produce, particularly local vegetables grown on their own organic farm. We often cycle there from Ramsgate as they are the best organic oulet in the area.

Their fruit and vegetables are so fresh, mostly grown locally and taste really good. Minimum of un-necessary packaging a la supermarkets and polite friendly service. Their potatoes are also local and its is no hardship to wash the mud off at home. I swear that they are tastier with the minimum of interference!

They even deliver my heavy bags of coal free so are delightful hard working people who serve the local community so cheerily and well. I would love to see them win an award from yourselves.

Great produce, friendly family, they really know their vegetables. We enjoy the challenge of using it all. Great value and great service.

We have had veg in a box weekly for well over 3 years now and love it. As you get what is in season, we learned how to cook some delicious vegetables that we did not or just rarely bought before. The quality of the produce is very good - and it is better value than supermarket vegetable, even if you donʼt take the better quality into account. We are so used to the quality now that we can all taste if we eat different carrots or parsnips. We love the eggs, too - all different shapes and sizes.

Well done all at your country store. The supermarkets are loosing the plot. My wife and I usually shop weekly and really enjoy the simple ambience and excellent quality of mainly local vegetables. It is so refreshing to see good food that is not wrapped up in plastic a la Tesco et al.You even supply paper bags which I prefer to use as they are easy to degrade. You also provide a most welcome home delivery of coal which is much appreciated. For about £7 to £10 we always seem to have large wooden box (which I then use for firewood) of very tasty products. Finally the staff are always polite. cheerful, friendly and helpful.

Iʼve had an organic vegetable box delivered weekly from Wingham Country Market for nearly two years now. I really like it. Thereʼs the element of surprise, along with the knowledge that the basics - spuds, carrots and onions - will always be there. The veg are always fresh, almost all are locally grown and only very occasionally is there produce from further afield. Iʼve made a few discoveries too - celeriac for example. I hadnʼt a clue what it was when it first appeared in the box but now take it all in my stride! Itʼs also very convenient and thereʼs no nasty packaging to pay for and throw away. I have eggs and bread delivered too, again very convenient. Good on you Wingham Country Market!
