Do you want your children to be as healthy as they can be and to reach their potential at school?
Of course you do; we all do!
We know that for children to thrive, they need a balanced diet. A diet rich in vegetables and fruit, and with the right mix of protein, carbohydrates and good fats.
All the evidence shows that children who eat a balanced, healthy, hot meal at lunchtime do better at school. They are happier, concentrate better, behave better and achieve better.
I want that for my child and I want it for all our children. And that is why I persuaded local people to help me create this new, professional school caterer, Whole School Meals Ltd.
Whole School Meals is a local company. We are a professional caterer, but majority owned by our schools. And our mission is to feed our children great food at school.
Since September 2006 our school caterers have been doing a magnificent job preparing a main meat course, vegetarian option and dessert every day, from fresh ingredients. Our meals are balanced, nutritious and delicious. We really do cater for the children's needs!
Our menus are scientifically analysed to ensure they contain all the children's nutritional needs. We have no nasty pre-processed foods and only offer good quality ingredients. We can cater for children with food intolerances, too.
So local children now have the chance to eat well and thrive at school. Increasing numbers are taking up that chance.

The price of a two-course dinner is just £1.85, or £1.95 in secondary schools. (Try pricing a decent packed lunch - I think you will be surprised at how costly it is!)
And if you spend early mornings preparing packed lunches, just imagine not having to do that - I can tell you from experience, it's wonderful!
Pupils don't have to take the service every day, we just ask that you book and pay in advance so we can cater for the right numbers. Your school will tell you how to do this if you are new to the service.
We have something special in this service here in Deal and Sandwich. We are doing what many pundits say can't be done. But the service needs your support!
