The Pines Garden in the heart of the Dover Deal and Sandwich Kent area, has been run organically since the Spring 2002. This is far more than just not using herbicides and pesticides and more to do with working in harmony with the natural systems, composting, recycling and learning how to use natural predators to control pests.
The Underlying theme of The Pines Garden is the exploration of old and new models for sustainable land management and sustainable living in general.
The Pines Garden is home to the award winning Pines Calyx Conference , Training and Events Centre which is in daily use providing ongoing training events related to healthy and sustainable living, along with being available to hire for private functions and weddings.
The Pines Calyx is open periodically for public viewing- however accessible all year round is the Demo Dome next to the Pines Calyx with further information on this unique building.
Opposite The Pines Garden, you will find the Pines Tearoom,where you can enjoy some of the most delicious homemade cakes, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks, available tin the Dover Deal and Sandwich Kent area.
