The Astor Theatre is the jewel in Deal's cultural crown! A multi-purpose arts space that hosts music events, film, live theatre, comedy, classes and clubs, private functions and exhibitions. In the heart of Deal, this Edwardian theatre is also at the heart of the community.
Since its major renovation in 2009, The Astor Community Theatre in Deal has brought exciting, popular, innovative and varied performances to Deal.
Each season, The Astor programme entertains local people and visitors with such a varied programme including:

The Astor Community Theatre in Deal is also available as a venue for hire for weddings, private functions and events. There are two rooms available for hire, or you may hire the entire theatre for a larger event.

I have spent so many years living in Deal and the experience of living in such a wonderful town is only heightened by having such an amazing local theatre. I have seen more then 20 shows and productions over the last 5 years and will continue to support my local theatre! Well done the Astor!
The astor is a great place for many different events, the staff are always friendly, at music events there is always a great crowd and friendly atmosphere, some great music played by many different bands, is a great place to visit.
i went to see miles hunt and erica nockalls at the astor and had a really good nite the place has changed since i was last there it looks much better now
