My teenage son and his friends recently went to see a film at Dover's Silver Screen Cinema. They enjoyed it and his comments were that the cinema has a nice feel to it and is a nice place to see a film. Pretty good feedback I'd say from a teenager!

The Silver Screen is along a passage (Gaol Lane) next to Dover museum. This cinema is run by Sandy Wallace, who is usually present to welcome his customers. On Thursday mornings at 11 am a matinee is held of more specialist films, which attracts
people from Deal and beyond. Tea, coffee etc is served through the hatch before the show starts. The auditorium seats 110, and was converted from a lecture theatre in 1991. Silver Screen also operate in the former Town hall, Folkestone.
