When I have friends to stay I usually take them to see the Bronze Age boat and the Saxon burial display. They commented that it was fascinating to discover how much history lies just under our feet in Dover.

I took My Dad to Dover Museum and we spent a very interesting afternoon together in the museum. It was great for Dad as he is in poor health now and doesn't get about so eaily but the museum was very disabled friendly.He planned to go again with my Mum and make it a regular stop on their visits to Dover especially as it is free entry to local residents.
