Thanks very much for giving me the chance to play at the Deal Festival. I enjoyed the concert enormously- St George's Church is a fantastic place to play! The atmosphere down in Deal seemed amazing to me - I'm just sorry I wasn't able to stay down longer to experience some more of the great Deal Festival vibe! I'd love to return in the future if the opportunity should arise.

As a member of the board of the Festival of Music and the Arts I may be accused of being a trifle biased but I really do believe that this year was our best year ever and people really did enjoy those concerts and events they attended. I heard so many saying at the end of a particular performance how much they had enjoyed it. I am particularly enthusiastic about our education programme and the work experience opportunities we provide for young secondary school people.

We are already planning next yearʼs festival and can promise that it will be even better than this years - if that is possible.
