Just wanted to let you know we had a little girl named Iris, born 11th May. I wanted to thank you for the support you gave in preparing me for labour and birth. Although quite a long and slow labour, Iris arrived safe and well and I was able to have the natural birth I had so hoped for. It was the hardest thing I've ever done but the most amazing at the same time!!

Rob was a brilliant birth partner, we were able to put into practice the techniques we'd learnt at the birth prep class and all helped keep me relaxed and focused.

I loved the yoga classes, and would really like to attend baby yoga with Iris. When could we start?

Also, I'd be interested in one of your postnatal DVDs, how do I go about getting one?

Injoy Yoga is brilliant, I recommend it to anyone who is pregnant no matter what stage you are at and also to those who have recently given birth! The benefits are amazing, it helped greatly through out my pregnancy and now continues to do so with my little one. All you have to do is pop along to one of the classes, everyone is so welcoming and the teachers are great and their knowledge stretches further than just yoga and has really helped me in everyday life... I love the friends I have made and how much my little Jack enjoys it too.

Where do I begin? I have big love for this company, not only are the teachers down-to-earth and very approachable but I have connected with like-minded people on so many levels. It is a rarity to be able to find a place that feels like you belong in such a 'loud' environment. Injoy! really personifies its name. I first went to an Injoy yoga session when my daughte was only a couple of months old. She loved it and so did I! I now take my son (4 months old) to mother and baby yoga and my daughter to toddler yoga. The children love the lively songs and the energetic movement; I love getting fit and learning new songs and moves that I can use at home. The teachers are very friendly and have great advice and the tea and biscuits after the session are delicious! I can't rate Injoy yoga highly enough - having never attended a yoga session before (and thinking it was a bit "airy fairy") I'm now a complete yoga convert!

I love this class on a Monday night - it's a gentle restorative yoga class which is gradually transforming my life. I always leave the class feeling so much better than when I arrived - much more relaxed but also much more alive and appreciative of life. Meeting with Rosy and the group and practicing yoga in this way is having a genuinely restorative effect on my wellbeing and on my attidude to living and relating to others. I have been attending Injoy! yoga since I was five months pregnant. I attended the pregnancy yoga at St Augustines church. This is a fabulous class that prepares you both physically and mentally for birth with breathing and postures to use while in labour. It is also a chance to meet other expectant mums and to share any worries and concerns about birth.
After my daughter was born I then attended the mother & baby nurture class suitable for babies upto 16weeks. This class is held at Beanies cafe so after the class there is ample chance to sit and chat with the other new mums. This class enables you, through yoga to connect with your baby and also to tone and relax your body after the birth. There is always a relaxation time after each of Rosy's yoga classes which is a lovely time to feed, bond with your baby or just to chill. I have now progressed to baby yoga which is more energetic for both mum and baby. have loved attending Injoys! classes. I highly recommend them to any new mums.

I started out attending Injoy!'s pregnancy yoga classes last year. I found them really useful in relieving aches and pains associated with pregnancy, and most importantly the breathing techniques and the information we were given about the labour made me feel totally confident that I had the tools to give birth. I believe largely as a result of this confidence I had an amazing home birth experience with no complications. I now attend mother and baby yoga classes which my daughter loves. I also attend anusura yoga classes which really help me to de-stress and feel invigorated. Rozy and her colleagues have a really lovely way of teaching which is supportive, friendly and extremely informative. In all classes there is a real strong community spirit, which is something that is extremely important to me and is why I continue to support Injoy! yoga :-)

I attend the Monday night advanced yoga class and have loved every minute of it. I first met Rozy when I was looking for a pregnancy yoga class 6 years ago. It was a perfect class and many of the other pregnant ladies from back then, are still my friends today. This class is a wonderful mixture of stretching, toning, relaxation and spiritual guidance. Injoy has been fantastic through my pregnacy and now as a new mum. I attended antenatal Yoga which really helped with lower back ache, breathing techniques and just generally helping me through my first pregnacy. It it great to meet other new mums and Rozy our teacher is so passionate and knowledgeable about the subject of birth and babies. I am now doing baby nurture. I have first heard about Injoy during my pregnancy and had the luck to join pregnancy yoga which was brilliant. Two years on, I can't give up on my lovely Monday treat and now I carry on with "general" yoga classes which I absolutely adore. Our sessions really work to get a better posture and creates realization of your body and muscles. Our instructor Rozy is such a gem as a person and as an instructor. She is such a positive person and somehow she can always reach to the best of you and makes you feel so good about yourselves. I feel so energized after each class, every time. She is also very clear with her instructions and always keeps an eye on each and every one of us to make sure we are doing the right moves. In these two years I've realized such an improvement on my posture and also the way I see life. It is definately luck to have her classes in our area. I cant thank her enough

Injoy yoga is a 'must do' for all expecting mothers, it gives you the best preparation for birth ranging from moves to do pre labour and during labour to help you through the whole birth. This is Matt writing on behalf of Marcela and I who are now proud parents to 4 day old Louis Otto Cartwright.


I wanted to thank you from our hearts for the support you gave Marcela through the yoga classes and I never thought I would say this but the 2 yoga classes I attended as a father to be were the best thing I / we could have done. Not only did I suddenly have an understanding of the whole 'labour dynamic' and was therefore able to support Marcela through labour but we also had a lot of fun making funny noises together and wigglying through the contractions.

Marcela's waters broke on Sunday morning at 4am, and through using want we learnt we stayed at home until 3.30pm (I even got to see Spurs thrash Liverpool on the TV so if nothing more it works for the boys to!!!) Marcela then delivered in St Heliers birthing Centre with a little help at 8.30pm.

Louis continues to do well and Marcela is amazing, we hope to see you soon at the baby yoga classes and wondered when and where are they held?

Rozzy of InJoy's guidance has enabled me to develop a personal and emotional link with my unborn baby. I started Injoy Pregnancy yoga at 18 weeks pregnant,,I didnt know what to expect and after having 4 misscarriages before this pregnancy i was really nervous and anxious, Yoga with Rozy every week was the highlight of my week,,,From the 1st session I really began to relax and enjoy my very special pregnancy..I felt more in touch with baby and got so much out of every class. I would have the best sleep on a tuesday night after yoga because i was so relaxed. I cannot put into words just how much preganacy yoga made a difference to me,, i felt more fit and active and so much more positive since doing it. I also attended the birth prep with my husband and we found it so helpful,,the best part for me was incuding my husband into what we had been doing in the classes,,and during the birth he was able to help me and prompt me with things we learnt. I had a magical birth in the birth centre in mayday...listening to brilliant music all the way through and all my yoga moves came instinctively to me,,,i didnt lie down once,,,, I gave birth to a beautiful and healthy little girl,who didnt get distressed through the labour once..i honestly dont think i wouldve had such a beautiful and positive experience without injoy yoga and the amazing Rozy, who is such a brilliant teacher and such a warm and caring and funny lady ,I cannot thank her enough!

I really love the mum and baby yoga classes. I started going when my baby Lowen was just 4 weeks old and we've now graduated to the toddler class as he has started crawling. We both got SO much out of it from the very beginning, both physically and emotionally. For example I have got my core strength back after giving birth and I have used the baby yoga as well as Rozy's tips to soothe my little one and help with things such as colic. Lowen also loves the classes, his little eyes light up and he bounces up and down when we start singing the hello song! The classes are more than just doing yoga, they are an opportunity to take some time to relax and bond with your baby, and get confident about being the great mums that we all are! And finally it is a great place for us mums to swap advice and stories over a cup of herbal tea!

I first went to Injoy yoga when I was 16 weeks pregnant and was lucky enough to have Rozy as the teacher. She is an amazing and inspiring person who understood and helped me deal with all the emotional issues of pregnancy. The class was a great help with back and hip pains due to bad posture during pregnancy.

I have always been troubled with back pain niggles particularly sacroiliac joint pain and therefore thought that it was inevitable that I would develop pelvic pain in pregnancy. I was keen to do something active in my pregnancy and wanted an activity that would also provide a way to relax and unwind. When I signed up for the classes with Rosy I didn't realise quite how well the classes would help me.

As a doctor I have found that attending Rosy's classes since 16 weeks pregnant has allowed me to somewhat reset my normality scale and each week it gives me the opportunity to relax and connect with my pregnancy. Every class Rosy gets everyone to share how they have been over the last week and will tailor the exercises to various pains, niggles or stresses expressed. I have always found Rosy to be knowledgeable and sensible and give practical and above all safe advice. The combination of the discussion at the beginning of the class followed by exercises to help various ailments makes the classes more like one to one private physio rolled into antenatal classes with Yoga. My back is now in a better state than it was pre pregnancy. I am looking forward to doing the birth prep classes and baby nurture when my little one arrives.

I wanted to let you know that I think we may have turned a corner with night times. Lyra has been very unsettled at night and it has been difficult turn things around. So we stopped and tried to listen a bit more carefully to her and it seems that she needs to co-sleep at the moment in our bed (she has usually always slept in a co-sleeping ‘bed nest’ and then a co-sleeping cot which is attached to our bed and has no side). However, sleeping in the same bed has made a big difference to her and things are slowly settling back down. So I am hoping that I will have a little more energy back when I see you on Tuesday week! Yoga has really helped me (and Martin) to listen more carefully to Lyra and more importantly to follow her lead rather than only listen to ‘the experts’ It is only when I have a little wobble in confidence about being a good mum and let this advice get in the way of what Lyra is trying to say to us (as with sleeping) that things haven’t work out as well. I know that yoga has, and continues to really help me to grow in confidence as a mother as well as help Lyra and me to grow together. We have a long way to go but when Martin and I remember to be still and to listen to Lyra then we usually all find a solution together!

Yoga is so much more than Tuesday mornings to us and we are very grateful!

I love Injoy Yoga :)

I have learnt about Injoy last year when I was pregnanat and thought it would be a good idea to join some pregnancy yoga classes. I year on an I am still a big fan. Rozy, our instructer, is such a warm hearted, welcoming person and with lots of knowladge abouyt what she is doing. After I have given birth to my little one, I have joined to Mother & Baby Yoga which was faboulous as well.
Nowadays I am attending evening Yoga classes for a little bit of that precious "ME" time and I must say I can't wait for Monday evenings to arrive. I feel incredible relaxation during and after both physically and mentally. Feels like my batteries arer charged for the rest ofthe week.
Most important of all; you get to know Rozy, whose pozitivity wil surely enlighten you days:)

I went to classes when I was pregnant thinking it would be a safe form of exercise and surprised myself by really benefitting from the feel good element of Yoga. I felt great and it really helped during labour to relax me and help me though the birth process. I have since started going to the Mummy & Baby classes, my little one loves the classes, enjoys the interaction with the other babies and its a good place to meet other mums. You dont need to be a budding buddha to enjoy Yoga!

The exercises and breathing techniques helped me prepare for the birth in the latter stages of pregnancy and during labour. Understanding the physical and emotional journey before the event helped to dissipate fears and really help prepare us for the birth. My husband was hugely supportive despite normally being squeamish, my labour was 4.5 hours and the birth of my son was natural and straight forward. Baby Nurture
This is more than just a yoga class with babies. Rosy has a wealth of information on all aspects relating to babies and the class is informal, relaxed and physically and emotionally beneficial to both mother and baby. I never could have imagined a room full of so many calm and contented babies before! It's great to meet other mothers and the tea after the class is a great way to chat and swap stories. My baby loves it and I leave feeling like I'm walking on air.

I strongly feel that this was largely due to the birth preparation course. Thank you Rosy for helping to make my son's birth amazingly special and a wonderful experience.

Pregnancy Yoga:
This is a wonderful way to relax during pregnancy and prepare your body for birth. Having undertaken yoga previously and finding the meditation side quite difficult, I was pleased there was plenty of physical exercise to alleviate all those pregnancy aches and pains but also found that this class really helped me to connect with my baby emotionally. Rosy has a real gift and I thought the classes were brilliant. I always slept like a log after this yoga class! My only regret was that I didn't start coming to the class sooner in my pregnancy.

Post Birth Re-alignment
This session was very useful after the birth since I had lower back pain which made walking very difficult. Rosy highlighted my problems and helped me on the road to recovery. I also learnt techniques to close my body up after birth, realign myself and rebuild my strength from the inside out both in the short and long term. I would thoroughly recommend this course even after the most straight forward of births.

The best thing I did during my pregnancy was to join Rozys pregnancy yoga class. Of course like all first time mums I was “all over the place” and Rozys classes seem to make me relax into the idea that I was actually going to have a baby!!!!! She has so much energy and lots of great ideas, phrases and expressions for every occasion. I also have problems with my pelvis and Rozy has taught me some handy stretches and breathing techniques.

I was blessed with a fantastic labour in Mayday birth centre, jumping on the ball and in the pool whilst listening to dance tunes on my ipod!!!!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend said I was using my yoga breathing loads.

The first time out the house with Molly my new ‘bundle of joy’ was to Rozys mummy and nurture class. Again my mind was put at rest due to all the helpful advice. Rozy does some great work with all of us and is one of lifes truly nice people! Thanks

Easily the best 4 hours spent on a Sunday afternoon! Everything I needed to know was explained and demonstrated in friendly and comfortable surroundings.

All I was taught by Rozy massively supported my role during the labour as the birth partner. I’m so grateful to Rozy for all the handy tips along the way!
