The Furzedown Pub near Croydon is a warm and friendly public house regularly organising social and family orientated events.

Formerly known as the Park Tavern, the pub was recently renovated and bears the name The Furzedown.

Situated at the heart of the neighbourhood, we are introducing change - namely in improving our premises, products and services and creating activities for all to enjoy. We are pleased to see positive results from this hard work and strive to instill a sense of community and endeavour to provide our customers with a range of social and family orientated events.

Beer Garden

Customers can enjoy the use of our beer garden which also serves as a smoking area.

Games/meeting area

The Furzedown offers it customers the use of:

• a pool table;
• a dartboard; and
• various board games.

Chill Out Area

After a hard days' work, our customers can relax in a more peaceful area of the pub, furnished with couches and an array of books and magazines, available for you to browse. We also have WiFi internet access available throughout the pub.

The Furzedown offers a new Gastro style Restaurant.

We have a function room holding approximately 100 people available to hire suitable for any occasion. We also off accommodation, perfect for guests who have a long journey home.

Finding the right venue for your wedding reception can be a mammoth task.  The Furzedown proposes the hire of its function room, perfect for wedding parties with the capacity to hold approximately 100 people.

The room also includes:

• private entrance;
  
• male and female toilets;
  
• DJ/music cubby area; and
  
• outside smoking space.
  
• Dining tables and chairs can be arranged as per your event requirements.
  
• We can also organise a cold buffet for up to 100 people 

With all these facilities at your disposal you have everything you need to organise a fantastic and memorable wedding reception. 

Accommodation

The Furzedown in Streatham, near Croydon offers comfortable, self-contained single, double or triple occupany accommodation. We are located within easy access to central London and our accommodation is perfect for an overnight stay if you have attended a function with us the night before.

The rooms are situated over two floors above the public house with a private entrance. There are seven shower/toilets and two kitchens to be shared among residents. En-suite rooms are also available.
