Next week sees the start of the first ever Croydon Fashion Festival - forget fashion shows in Paris, Milan or New York, bring on Croydon fashion week.
Our good friends at Tiger Tiger Croydon are hosting one of the highlight of the week: 'ready steady shop' a daily funky style challenge where members of the public will be become the Simon Cowell of the fashion world.
'Ready, Steady, Shop!' In association with Tiger Tiger and Primark is a lunchtime style challenge where between 12pm and 2pm each day, 4 contestants will each be a given a budget of £25 to compete in a style contest to see who can dress for less from Primark. Guests will then be invited to vote for the most stylish outfit and the winner of each heat will then battle it out in the finals, taking place on
Friday 20th June. The winner will then model their outfit on the 'Tiger Walk'.
Tiger Tiger, one of the most fashionable and stylish entertainment venues in town is hosting the daily style challenge, as part of the Croydon Fashion Festival.
Also on hand to host the style challenge event and offer her expertise will be Joy Odunsi, from Potential - U, a leading beauty and image consultant, who can help women achieve their style dreams. At The Best of Croydon, we have personally met with Joy and she doesn't know about style, is not worth knowing!
