There are a lot of brilliant things about Red Shift Radio, where to begin.Firstly it is a proper Local radio station and really caters for the folk of South Cheshire. There is also a great range of programmes/music catering for all walks of life. But the best thing about the station is its ethos about being 'The Good News Station' and bringing communities together. There really is a great feel about the station and brilliant asset the the South Cheshire communities.
It really does what it says on the packet - bring communities together! RedShift Radio couples amazing energy with determination & reaches out to all parts of the local community & beyond. It really meets the needs of very diverse audiences, young, old, business & charities and provides immediate action on local news eg explosion at Crewe station reported on site in minutes!

An absolutely amazing show! The subjects discussed are interesting and the music unique and varied (something sadly missing from many other generic radio shows). Also the involved interaction between Tim Prevett and his listeners adds another level to the entertainment (and infotainment) to the show.
I'm a massive Warrington Wolves fan, so to hear news on them even though they aren't in Crewe was great! Will keep on listening! Thanks!
It's good to have some indie music to listen to, mixed-in with some fun chart stuff and classics. Toby & Tess have quite fun banter between them & I speak as someone who doesn't usually enjoy radio banter... but Redshift presenter have a way of being themselves and getting it right

I've been a guest twice on the Charities Today show and listen online every Tuesday. I think it's a brilliant idea to have a show dedicated to charities, their supporters and those of us who work within this dynamic and challenging sector. Mumtaz is great presenter, because she listens, has a good balance between appeals based interviews and 'practice' orientated material. And Mumtaz clearly gets 'charity' and the charity supporter psyche! Great show all round. Along with the top work of The Community Channel TV, I think you guys should get more plaudits!
Pick 'n' Mix - Fantastic show. Listen online every week down here in Dorset. You need to get a John Otway album on the system though :-P
Its great to hear young people on Redshift radio; the schools programmes are listened to by all of the presenters class in school time which develops speaking and listening skills, and by locals who get to appreciate the talents and aspirations of our young people. Please have more FM broadcasts!

RedShift Radio is a brilliant community station. The range of shows and topics appeals to a wide range of local residents as well as to internet listeners. I like the business shows such as Flying Start and Good Connections, the presenters are knowledgeable and you get to heard from a wide variety of business who get the chance to be guests.

They are informative and bring together communities across South Cheshire. I really love the show; Toddler Talk and listen to it with my cuppa break on a Wednesday Morning. Sharon keeps me upto date with things to do with the kids and relevant interesting information.

Reboot is a lighthearted show, great that they play requests, information given at correct user level. Interesting guests.
I enjoyed my second guest slot on Chrisoula's European Lunch Show. How she finds something different to talk about each week is amazing. I personally have received good feedback e-mails. Looking forward to talking about Italy perhaps one day!

The radio station caters for all the local community.From schoolkids to senior citizens, all broadcasting live on the internet.With an added bonus of two(so far) local fm broadcasts.

Your looking at a business which is looking to get you to listen to them , Literally ! . Redshift to me means local news and local issues discussed the local decision makers made to answer the public they serve and the chance for local bands to get airplay. The business is looking to go forward having listened to them on Fm radio the move to a permanant license cant be far away , The station covers most tastes in music and gives news and weather and local chat . I can't think of another business that serves its community while it go's about it's daily business redshift radio for me .

I Looooooove Redshift Radio because it plays the most eclectic collection of music i know. Commercial radio stations play the charts on repeat, RedShift has no such failings, from 80's to Noughties, unsigned to local legends; there is no popularity bias on Redshifts waves. Combine that with a mix of shows that can appeal to any and all ages, genders, interests and occupations while keeping the content as local and current as possible and you have a winning combination. i work FT and if i miss a show i like then i have the last four weeks worth available at the touch of a button on Listen Again. Crewe/Nantwich and the surrounding areas need a voice and i beleive RedShift will be that platform - there is no other station like it.
Having listened to Radio Redshift for the first time on Sunday 11th December 2011 at 10am-12pm, whilst cooking brunch and listening to DJ Paul. I could not think of a better way to spend Sunday mornings listening to everybody requests and their choices of great music. I now tune in every Sunday eager to listen to DJ Paul. RedShift Radio is a fantastic local station, if not the best! The coverage is great, and to give local school kids a chance to broadcast on FM is unheard of! The guys behind it must work tirelessly, and it is definately worth it. The variety of guests and shows helps make the station individual, with all presenters bringing their own style, and being natural. The sports coverage was unrivalled, not heard anyone else commentate on football and rugby games. I hope they continue to improve, and the only thing I would say is please play modern music, specially at drive time hours! :)
I only found out about Redshift a few weeks ago but since then my car radio has been tuned in constantley. There is always something different to listen to and the music is great I have now bookmarked you on the internet.

We love listening to Red Shift Radio, especially The Sherry Councellors show on a Sunday night. While broadcasting loads of fantastic rock tunes, you can also listen out for some hugely talented local bands introducing us to their new tunes!There is a great mix of shows on offer on Red Shift Radio, with a wide variety of music, and also interesting, topical community shows on offer too. Living on a Pacific Island, off Western Canada, I never dreamed I'd ever be able to listen to live radio from Nantwish and Crewe, my birthplace. I hope that the quality of the programming results in both support from the local community, and continuing licensing support too.
