Lady Verdin Trust is a charitable organisation providing care in sheltered accommodation in the community, along with other services. We have a substantial payroll, with staff working a complex shift pattern to ensure care is delivered 24 hours a day to the appropriate level. The system is now well "bedded-in", and not only eases our administration of the payroll, but also provides additional valuable management information, helping us to improve our efficiency.

P and L are now developing a system to enable us to plan our work rotas more effectively – this is a very complex process, and the new system will link in closely with the payroll.
