Gymnastic, Trampolining and Keep Fit Classes at The Wingate Centre

The Wingate Centre holds various gymnastic related activities in their fully equipped 7,000 square foot, gymnasium.

• Pre School Gymnastics

From 1 year upward, sessions combine structured play with introduction to gymnastics following the British Gymnastics pre-school Toy-Box awards.

• Recreational Gymnastics

From 5 years to adult for both non-disabled and disabled children. Classes are held each evening after school and on Saturday mornings. Children with a disability are individually assessed by the Head of Coaching who then allocates an appropriate class.

• Squad Gymnastics

There are two squads, one that competes in disability competitions and one for mainstream youngsters. Entry to both squads is based upon invitation after assessment.

• Recreational Trampolining

From age 8 to adult for both non-disabled and disabled children and adults. Classes are held several times a week in co-operation with Nantwich School of Trampolining. There is progression to competitive squads for all ages.

• Children’s Parties

These are available each Sunday afternoon from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and comprise a one hour gym session with a senior coach using the soft play gymnastics equipment and trampolines, followed by the use of the community room. Also on offer is the large outdoor adventure playground.

• Ladies Keep Fit

Held once a week throughout the year on Friday mornings
