You could argue with some aspects of modern health and safety legislation, but much of it is in place to protect us legitimately from harm. One traditional activity which has been impacted is the public fireworks displays that used to be so common and popular.
Families particularly will be pleased to know that they are still taking place, albeit in much lower numbers and that it is still possible to find a display in the Crawley area.
Horley Round Table on Saturday 31 October here and Tulleys Farm on Sunday 1 November here are two good local example of them still surviving.
