The Fashion Trust has been set up to help fledgling fashion businesses succeed in the tumultuous industry in which they struggle for space.
Through research, the Trust has established the issues facing our regional fashion industry and discovered the difficulties that lie in helping businesses to take their work into dedicated workspace – and the costs associated with it.
The Sussex Fashion Awards is the first event by the Fashion Trust, dedicated to raising the profile of the 15th largest industry in the UK (four times the size of the music industry!), and recognising the achievements of those succeeding against the odds.
We are very pleased to announce that JoJo Boutique – the wonderful boutique fashion store nestled in the heart of beautiful Cuckfield – has been nominated and is one of the finalists in The Sussex Fashion Awards category, Independent Retailer of the Year.
The category is a full one – Sussex is full to the brim of unique independent clothes shops, but JoJo Boutique is a firm favourite among their loving customers. With regular special offers, responsibly sourced materials, and ever-changing fresh and individual collections, JoJo Boutique provide formidable competition.
