The brainchild of Joanna Dennis, JoJo Boutique opened six weeks ago as a welcome addition to the delightful village of Cuckfield, not far from Crawley. In a complete departure from her previous corporate life, Jo's new venture has a distinct personality and character that set it apart from the retail mainstream.
Once a fish shop and earlier a bakery, the tiny shop welcomes local people and offers garments and accessories that are just a little bit different and that Jo has stocked for their uniqueness, quality and affordable prices. Everything from cotton kurtas and pashminas that come directly from India to stunning silk tunics and dresses from Aftershock and Nila Rubia. She has even designed her own range of silver jewellery to complement the clothes.
Cuckfield has an appeal all of its own as a traditional Regency village with an eclectic mix of little cafe's, restaurants, hairdressers and beauticians. Parking is easy and a shopping visit is an enjoyable experience. A complete contrast to mass market malls!
JoJo is at 2 High Street right in the centre of Cuckfield village and open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5.00pm. It will open until 7.00pm from Wednesday 11th November until the end of December for late night shoppers.
