Coventry is heading for probably one of the most exciting shopping Christmases ever.
The Coventry International Christmas Market opens on Thursday 1st December 2011
The Lord Mayor will officially open the Coventry International Christmas Market from 10.00am.
Coventry city centre will be turned into a virtual culinary United Nations, with food and Christmas gifts from all over the world for sale, there will also be lots of tempting free samples on offer.
The Coventry International Christmas Market promises a Tunisian bazaar with belly dancers and the ambient buzz of a North African street market.
There will be a large traditional Christmas German market wooden chalet selling Bavarian beer and glubwine, with matching German bratwurst sausage house, imported from Germany especially for the event.
Other stalls represent, France, Spain, Greece, Lebanon, Iran, India, Morocco, Egypt plus many more, all carefully selected to enhance the Coventry’s Christmas shopping experience this year.
Throughout the event Christmas shoppers in Coventry will have a chance to win an outstanding prize.
The Coventry Christmas International Market runs From Thursday 1st December 2011 until Christmas Eve, Saturday 24th December 2011

A selection of 3 meter x 3 meter marquees are available for the sale of Christmas Gifts.
The marquees will be located in Market Way South (by Tesco, Superdrug) during the month of December.
