 World Cup Rugby Coming To Coventry in 2015!

 

The Rugby World Cup is the 3rd largest sporting event after the Olympics and the football World Cup.

The Ricoh Arena in Coventry will be one of 11 stadiums across England and Wales to play host to some of the World Cup pool games in six years time and showcase some of the world's top rugby stars for the 48 game tournament.

At a special International Rugby Board (IRB) meeting in Dublin, officials from the Rugby Football Union (RFU) beat off competition from Italy and South Africa to win the right to host the major sporting event through England and Wales in 2015.

The tournament is likely to take place in September and October, so keep your eye on the ball at thebestofcoventry for details of game dates, teams playing and how to get your tickets.
