Allan and his staff always welcome you with a warm smile and often give me advice on the type of cuts of meat to use. British meat is the best and if you like myself are interested in what your family is eating:local british produce. Then a visit to this butcher is a must!!

What a lovely welcome you receive from the minute you enter the premies. I had made a conscious decision to buy. meat locally and couldnʼt have wshed for a better welcomeAll the staff are cheerful and extremely helpful, it was a pleasure to shop with them. All the meat is if a high quality, and tasted great.
Iʼll be returning to sample the wide variety that is on offer. Great quality meat and very good prices - everyone should try them. - "Rocket" was very helpful.

A butcher for excellent quality meat and great variety, and excellent quality service. Our particular favourites are beef in general but in particular all (yes do mean all) the varieties of steaks, the pork and apple burgers, square slice sausages (when available), but there are usually also excellent pork and lamb chops and steaks. We are not great fans of sausages generally but to witness others purchasing the many varieties suggests that they are very, very popular. It is always worth a visit to Daventry Road for the shops, but this shop alone warrants a visit if you visit no other.

Excellent service and quality. The friendliest shop around with VERY polite staff. Good banter and just the right amount of humour. A pleasure to visit this shop, you enter smiling, leave smiling and eat smiling. 10/10

Roy Bosworth is a top quality butcher in my book. I wouldnʼt buy my meat from anywhere else in the city. I have shopped at his butchers for over 15 years. His 6/8 differant variety of sausages are all excellent (from breakfast pork to hickory and cumberland). All made on the premises. His steak is super, cut as think as like from t bone to rump. Minty lamb burgers just deliciouse. And the legs / joints of lamb are the best. The butchers (Doug and co) are always helpful with that special cut for a dinner party. Well worth a visit.
