Coventry Restaurant reaches new heights!

Coventry Airport DC6 Dinner

New restaurant in Coventry

A fabulous article appeared in the Daily Mail this week about a new restaurant at Coventry Airport

The DC6 Diner a 1950’s Douglas DC-6 Aeroplane has been converted in to a restaurant with room for 40 diners and even includes a cocktail bar!

The 1950’s transatlantic prop engine aeroplane, last flown three years ago certainly is taking eating out in Coventry to new heights!

The restaurant which forms part of the Airbase Exhibition at Coventry Airport has been restored and has room for 40 guests seated in the cabin of the plane and diners can call the waiting staff by using the overhead call buttons, diners are also welcome to visit the cockpit of the DC-6 that has been kept in its original condition.

Having visited the DC-6 Diner, we loved it!
