As the result would suggest, S&L were back in top gear this weekend with a resounding victory against a very physical Leicester Forest side. But if you ask the supporters and the coaches this game was the ultimate cliché in that it most certainly was ‘a game of two halves’.
Deven Maciuk earned his first man of the match award on debut this past Saturday, as Stewarts and Lloyds held on for victory against St Ives. The Cambridgeshire side, who are notoriously difficult to beat at home, had won the previous two encounters.
Stewarts and Lloyds hosted Dunstablians this past weekend in a top of the table clash. Forced changes in personnel tested the depth of the Occupation Road side. Jake Biddle (pictured) earned a start at fly half after impressing consistently in the Development XV. There were also starts for wingers Seraphim Parente and Development XV Vice Captain Dave Jacklin.
